It’s now the second month that I am using Bach Flowers. I’m very happy with them, the people in my surroundings notice that I’m doing better. I’m being more and more myself, dare to stand up for myself and show more emotions. I also feel more emotions, which benefits my therapy. Before, I just didn’t know what exactly it was that I felt, and could only cry or be angry with myself. Now I can say if I’m angry, or fearful. This is great, but involves a bit of getting acclimatised for my surroundings. The binges have diminished for the greatest part. Since I started using Bach Flowers I only had 5, I think. They don’t come as a replacement for the anger and sadness and that sort of stuff; this has been a real improvement. I only have them when I’m exhausted or had a very heavy therapy session. The therapy I’m having is to cope with trauma, to create more space in my mind and body. I think I unconsciously still try to fill that up. Also the ‘being tired’ is a huge problem. But maybe that goes hand in hand with my therapy and the gap I’m in now since our daughter moved out.
